Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi
Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi is a respected community leader dedicated to making Mohave County a better place to live. Since 1977, she has called this community home and has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for its residents. She is a strong conservative who places her faith in God, her family, and the principles of a free America. She proudly supports President Donald Trump and his policies, and if elected, she will make decisions and cast votes firmly guided by these core beliefs.
A successful businesswoman and devout practicing Catholic, Catherine’s journey has been shaped by faith, bold risks, and challenges all driven by her passion for the community she loves. Her commitment to service was inspired early on by her father, who owned Mike’s Brake and Alignment and co-founded the River Cruizers Car Club. From him, Catherine inherited a strong work ethic and values that propelled her into financing at just seventeen.

Business Leadership
For over two decades, Catherine has been a pioneer in bringing affordable financial solutions to families in the Bullhead City area. She launched the first in-store bank inside Bullhead City’s Walmart in 2000 and opened Bullhead City Insurance Center in 2004. Leveraging her financial expertise, she expanded her insurance agency to serve multiple states, including Arizona, California, and Nevada. Her success is built on integrity, loyalty, and a deep commitment to her clients, whom she considers lifelong partners.
Together with her husband Glen – contractor and owner of Mountain View Homes, a local new home building company, Catherine is deeply passionate about housing and economic development. They both strive to make Mohave County a vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family. Glen and Catherine also own Kitchen, Bath & Beyond, a remodeling company and showroom, where they are committed to keeping revenue circulating within the community and creating local job opportunities. Alongside their two daughters, they dedicate their time, love, and resources to supporting the local economy and fostering community growth, always guided by God, honesty, and transparency in business.
“Leadership Is Action, Not Titles”
Catherine believes that true leadership is about action, not titles. Her influence reaches far beyond business, rooted deeply in community service. She has served on numerous boards, including the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce, FMM Fire Board, and Community Pride Advocates Board, which facilitated the construction and grand opening of the John & Olivia McCormick Performing Arts Pavilion and she remains active with the Rotary Club of Bullhead City. As a member of the Mohave Valley Contractors Association and co-founder of the Academy of Building Industries, Catherine has helped shape the local youth, business landscape, and trades.
She has played a key role in organizing major community initiatives like the Home & Garden Expo, renovations to Gary Keith Park, and beloved local events such as White Night in the Park, Boom Box Parade, and Western Auction. Her dedication extends to youth programs including Girl Scouts and Mohave County 4-H, reflecting her belief in nurturing the next generation.
Now, Catherine is ready to bring her same determination and spirit of unity to the State of Arizona. She is not a career politician, but a wife, mother, mentor, and accomplished businesswoman, qualities Arizona needs in its leaders. Proud to call Mohave County home, Catherine understands the values and moral fabric that make the state strong.

Catherine Supports Local Businesses
With deep roots, integrity, and unwavering commitment to service, Catherine Lopez-Rajaniemi will be a voice of strength, reliability, and transparency for Arizona’s future. She stands ready to fight for meaningful results that will benefit all Arizonans.
Her commitment is grounded in honesty. She won’t promise what’s beyond her control, but she pledges to work tirelessly to balance the state budget with transparency. Catherine stands firmly for reducing taxes wherever possible, ensuring that hard-earned money is returned to Arizona’s taxpayers. She opposes creating new taxes or increasing state debt.
Catherine deeply values rural communities and stands firm in protecting the rights of property owners. Water rights are especially critical in Arizona’s desert environment, and she understands that water is the lifeblood of the state and its economy. Drawing on her extensive experience in construction and development, Catherine is ready to fight to secure a fair share of water resources for the region. As Mark Twain famously said, “Whiskey’s for drinking and water’s for fighting,” and Catherine is prepared to be a fierce advocate for the people she represents.
Education is a top priority for Catherine. She believes Arizona’s schools must focus first and foremost on providing a solid foundation in the basics—math, English, science, American history, and civics. Recognizing that college is not the path for every student, she is passionate about restoring and expanding trade programs in high schools. Catherine and Glen share a strong commitment to supporting the trades, co-founding the Academy of Building Industries in Fort Mohave to nurture future skilled workers. She also advocates for supporting teachers and reducing class sizes to create an environment where every child can succeed.
Catherine believes every child deserves a fighting chance. She advocates for a full overhaul of the Family Court System and the Department of Child Safety. Children deserve proper representation because they are our future and they need advocates who care more about their well-being than the almighty dollar.

Catherine is a Proven Leader
Though not yet in office, Catherine is already seeing a serious issue coming down the pipeline—one that affects families, neighborhoods, and the very roofs over their heads. As an insurance agency owner, she has witnessed firsthand the growing trend of homeowners being non-renewed by their insurers, often with few options.
This isn’t just a policy problem; it’s a people problem. Families are being left scrambling to find coverage to protect their homes, their memories, and their futures. If Arizona doesn’t act now, it could face the same crisis seen in Pacific Palisades, California, where thousands of homeowners were forced onto last-resort insurance plans after being non-renewed by major carriers, many just before devastating wildfires hit.
Catherine is calling for proactive reform, greater transparency, and stronger protections for homeowners because no family should be left vulnerable in the face of corporate risk modeling and government inaction. Arizona must lead with foresight, not hindsight.
